Bagan: Trip Of A Life Time

3 Days / 2 Nights By Bikes

Day 1 BAGAN MYTHS – Horse Trails and tracks Ride. (-,Lunch,-)

The tour begins at 08:00am.

Meet with Wallace and driver at the hotel, or at the airport, transfer to Minnanthu Village area where you bikes are staging and set off on a full day of exploration in Bagan. This program includes a range of sites, providing a great overview of Bagan’s unique history, culture and local lifestyles.

The journey begins with a visit to Phayar Thone Zu Temple, Intricate Frescos we’re decorated inner wall of the temple noted for the beautiful mural paintings on its inner walls and well-preserved plaster carvings on its exterior.. Next, continue to Sinphyu Shin Monastic Temple Complex or Bagan Period Buddhist University , Over 5000 monks learned & studied Pali’ Buddha Text. The complex includes, Temples, Ordination Hall, Water Reservoir, Main Monastery and Residence buildings and considered to be one of the most important Complex in Bagan for Buddhism and architectural design , enjoy it in the quiet of morning before all the tour buses arrive.

Afterwards, we head to Sularmani Temple and walk to Manmade mound with spectacular views over the surrounding plains. This is the perfect introduction to the grandeur and scope of Bagan’s architecture. , Nearby is Dhammayan Gyi Temple and sularmani Temple, a Temple used to be World War II Hospital that we will check out. After that proceed your rolling towards Bagan Old City Wall. Take a break at Thabanyu Temple, the Highest In Bagan, used to be Monastery until 1996. After a short visit to temple, leave the city wall and head to Leyar Village, then head To Htilominlo Temple, The Unique Myanmar Architecture Building In 13 Century style. Then proceed to Alotawpyae temple.

Take a break with lunch at a local restaurant and then return to the hotel for a short rest and escape the extreme heat of the midday sun.

Later in the afternoon, learn more about local culture with a visit to two workshops producing Bagan’s most famous products: lacquerware and woodcrafts. Watch as the skilled craftsmen use techniques passed down through generations to create beautiful handicrafts. Then,take a relaxing horse cart ride through the temple area, winding along tiny roads past dozens of monuments. Stop at will to take photos or explore temples. Continue to an elevated viewpoint to watch an unforgettable sunset over the plains before returning to the hotel.

Day 2 Bagan Legends

BAGAN-VILLAGES – BAGAN (-,Lunch,-)

( Option – If you would like to take Balloons Ride Over Bagan’s Temples; Optional tour: Wake up in the early morning and take 45 minutes balloon flight; it is a chance to see Bagan waking up in the morning. You will see many temples in the distance and get an aerial view of Bagan, fly over villages and see people getting up in the morning and feeding their animals; or fly over fields and see people going to market. It is an amazing experience)

Today, your tour will start at 7:30am, 45 Kms Ride to the south of Bagan on passing through Bagan outskirts villages learning Traditional life style, local culture their food and live long earned business. Mostly we are on dirt road, sometimes touch the pavement, that’s exactly a fun of rides at all.

The area was Closed off for decades, Myanmar remains untainted by the globalisation seen elsewhere in Asia. Travelling in This area is like travelling back in time. Hoof and muscle are used in place of machines, and western fashion sensibilities haven’t set root. For those looking for a ‘pure’ travel destination, Myanmar is it. On the way learned how local produce Palm sugars, Bricks Making and Local weaving.

Have a Village lunch under the shady Toddy Palm Trees prepared by local Family. After lunch take break and siesta. After 15:00 O’clock, saddled our bikes and paddle to Napplin Village and left the Blue misty hills behind passing by villages and head to Bagan under the Missy sunshine. On your way back to Bagan, readiness of your Camera will make your trip of a lifetime perfect moments at all together with shadows of temples and Pagodas in hazy Bagan’s Horizon.

Day 3 Bagan – to your next destination by flight or land transportation by private van.
