Begin your journey to an Expeditions and exploring bagan by bike. It will lead you to travel back in time as you experience riding on bumpy dirty roads, passing a group of pagodas and the village of Minnanthu and it’s surrounding Environs to see how local people live. Then proceed to a 11th to 14th CAD the Buddhist University, learn the complex about Myanmar’s first Monastic life in 11th to 14th Century AD in Bagan.

Start your Day tour with Electronic Scooters

Our specialist guide will brief about the Scooters such as Breaks, Gears, Paddles, and safety route talks and which area will be covered.

From here, saddle your scooters adjust your helmets with help of our experienced guide. Then head to Phayar Thonezu Temples in Bagan. and takes you to Lemyethna Temple, topped by an Indian-style apex. Visit the Payathonzu complex (if open), a set of three interconnected shrines linked by passages and adorned with Mahayana-style or tantric mural paintings. Nearby is Nandamannya Temple with fine frescoes and an unexpectedly erotic mural. Wander through the village of Minnanthu to see how local people live.

Lunch at local restaurant

After lunch return by e-bike depending on the distance of your hotel, to skip the midday heat of Bagan.

In the afternoon, we continue our sightseeing by e-bikes in the ruins of Bagan from your hotel. Explore the unique work of local crafted Lacquer ware workshop where the local women specialize in details of special designs on Lacquer ware. Then proceed to Nan Phaya, one of the four Monuments build with sandstone, Manuhar Temple and Gubyauk gyi Myinkabar. Then proceed to Ananda Temple, the Westminster Abbey Of South East Asia And enjoy your sunset to a elevated area to see the panoramic view of Bagan’s beautiful sunset.

✓ Optional tour: Wake up in the early morning and take 45 minutes balloon flight; it is a chance to see Bagan waking up in the morning. You will see many temples in the distance and get an aerial view of Bagan, fly over villages and see people getting up in the morning and feeding their animals; or fly over fields and see people going to market. It is an amazing experience.

◦Bagan – Chauk – Salay – Mount Popa – Bagan

◦ Today we begin full day visit to Mt Popa and Salay excursion after breakfast.

◦ Begin with a drive south to Salay. After one hour we will make a stop in Chauk which has a colourful morning market to explore. Sometimes, we might have seen some Chin hill tribes in the market whose sell their products. It is a great place for local interaction and photos. Continue to Salay (30 minutes) from which you will visit several sites including Yoke Sone Kyaung monastery, one of the oldest wooden monastery about 100 years over in the area, which was built in early colonial period. We then head east toward Mount Popa; the great extinct volcano, and used to be the Summer Palace in Bagan Period, some mention it, “ Oasis in The Semi-desert Zone, Rising out of the shimmering heat, the solitary volcanic crag of Mt. Popa is home to Myanmar’s most powerful “nats”. Visit the Nat Museum with its life-sized statues of the 37 Nat Gods. Walk up the steps to the stupas and shrines that top the hill above the museum, seeing many pilgrims along the way to climb up about 777 steps. (and the climb is optional).Transfer back to Bagan late this afternoon.
